Kombucha Floats

As a lactose-free ice cream company, we’re all about digestive health. We’ve heard from many followers out there that you love kombucha as a gut-healthy staple. Kombucha is a fermented tea that contains bacteria and yeast to aid digestion while still keeping its sweet tea flavors. It has the same benefits that tea does, as well as added valuable probiotics. Kombucha contains a Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast (SCOBY) which is what you see floating in your drink. Drinking this will add healthy bacteria to your gut while killing unhealthy bacteria. Adding kombucha to your diet will improve your overall gut health which plays a crucial role in digestion, brain function, and mood.

We’ve teamed up with another bad-ass female-founded company, Pilot Kombucha. They are based in Brooklyn and are dedicated to bringing gut health to the food lovers of New York City. Alex Ingalls, a former chef and a foodie, came up with the idea so she could indulge in the wonderful foods New York has to offer without compromising her gut health. She developed Pilot Kombucha, which uses organic and fair trade ingredients for more nutritious bacteria. Our easily-digestible lactose-free ice cream pairs well with Pilot’s super gut-healthy drink. So we have a new treat for you: Kombucha Floats! 

 Pilot has some amazing flavors that are the perfect fruity compliment to our Lactose-Free Vanilla Ice Cream, like Lavender Peach, Blueberry Lemongrass, or Grapefruit Mint. We recommend using one of these or your own favorite! All you need to do is put a scoop of Beckon Vanilla ice cream in a glass of your choice, pour your favorite flavor of Pilot Kombucha, and voila! A refreshing summer dessert that is the perfect way to enjoy a sweet treat while being kind to your gut!

  • 2 parts Pilot Kombucha (we recommend a fruity flavor)
  • 1 scoop Beckon Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Garnish with fruit or a colorful straw
